Happy Birthday
Highfield
1933-2008
75 Years

In 1933 two new 'state of the art' schools opened in Blackpool serving the rural community of Marton and South Shore. Highfield Girls' School stood to the West of the centre cloisters while Highfield Boys' School stood to the East.
75 Years later the school and our town have grown up together.
Highfield is proud of its past achievements and excited by the opportunities that lie ahead.
As the years have slipped by one thing has remained constant and that is the professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication of the staff who have served generation after generation of pupils.
On Friday 25th April at the Glendower Hotel in St Anne's staff past and present gathered to wish the school well and renew old acquaintances. We were also joined by our partners in further and higher education, local council members and the local authority officers demonstrating that Highfield's motto "Working Together" remains as important today as ever.
